Appalachian Tough ™ Gun Case Foam is a soy based product that has been meticulously designed to be extra firm, incredibly durable, yet exceptionally lightweight.  The charcoal color looks sharp in any case, as is easily customized to fit your application. The extra firm properties of our Appalachian Tough™ Gun Case Foam, Gives it the versatility to be cut  with a brand new razor blade, electric carving knife, skinning knife, water jet, laser cutter, Hand Router or even a 3D Millier. Like the Appalachian people the durability of the Appalachian Tough ™ Gun Case Foam will give you years of use in your case to keep your valuable items safe and secure. With time, the foam will catch the memory of the items compressed in the foam, but has a quick recovery rate for temporary placements. 

NOTE: Each single piece of convoluted foam is a total height of 1.5". When nestled together they are a combined height of 2 inches.

    Using the foam sheets to line my Makita tool carry case, It secures my tools and protects them, keeping the tools from sliding or bouncing around, very good price and great product, did I mention the Service?     This is good stuff.It was perfect for a metal tool case that i turned into a pistol case. It was nice to purchase just enough to get the job done without a lot of waste. The egg crate design lets me put in different pistols and they don't move around. I'm very happy with the foam.
